What version of Blender do I need for making CC objects?

I've been wanting to make CC for years and doing that is confusing to learn. I haven't been able to. I knew that it needs vers 2.7, I am not sure now. I'm hoping it's now different and I can use 2.8 beyond versions. I have a few versions in 2.8, but not much difference. Just looks different, tools being slightly resuffled into a better workflow, and some new tools.

Over 10 years later, back to Sims 2

I have not really played The Sims 2 since 2009. I did bother to get the Ultimate Collection when it was offered in 2014, but I never really played it. More people seem to be returning to Sims 2 these days. There is a good sized community.

Well, I'm one of them, and I am back. I am building houses again, and of course there is stuff I need that has not yet been made. Not to mention the roughly 140 houses I made way back when and never uploaded anywhere.

I made the switch from Mac to PC recently, so now I can also do custom content. My sister used to export the files for me using SimPE, and then use my files to create the finished object in SimPE. I can do it all myself now, once I re-learn how.

Influence of some poses on custom mermaid tails

A cordial greeting. It seems appropriate to share an observation, I do it with respect. I have analyzed some poses for the sirens of sims 4, which are published on the internet. These poses were generated from a base: the mermaid dummy  (made by EA games).

   The creators of the poses modify the shape of the tail, it looks great, but this produces an important limit.

  Pose, shape or posture will be compatible only with the siren tails of EA games, or compatible with the tails (slightly modified) from this base, but WILL NOT APPLY TO NEW TAILS OF SIRENA.

   Because by modifying the tail from this base, the bones of the sims are being automatically ruined, the feet and legs of the avatar are deformed on a large scale. These destroyed bones will be revealed, deforming the new varieties of tails that can be created.

In effect, these poses will not be compatible with other siren tails.

   Therefore I suggest creating the poses using (as a base) a human body of the sims and not the body of the siren, in the way that you can take care not to alter large-scale or destroy the bones of the avatar. So,  poses WILL BE COMPATIBLE WITH ANY FORM OF TAIL for sirens. Would be great.

I'm Back!

After a long hiatus, I am glad to be back to the world of Sims. I had purchased Sims 3, and it was no sooner had I uploaded it that an unfotunate incident happened with my computer. Long story short, it took a while for me to get hardware that would handle the game, and by the time I did, I was too busy to play or create for the Sims. With things as they are with the pandemic, I have so much more time on my hands and thought I would put it to good use. 

I've spent the last few weeks learning all over again how to build in Sims 4, and I must say...EA has done some wonderful things with build mode! Things we used to have to fight to build are built into the capabilities of the game. I'm impressed!

I've submitted a build just this morning...hope to have it accepted soon. I won't spoil it, but I'm excited, and I hope you love it!

Unable to download TSR Workshop

I'm trying downlowd the latest vers. I did uninstall what I had. Everything looked normal and was okay, but with my new virus protection and my computer is confusing. I was able to downlowd TSR Workshop but the short cut and any trace of it of it being downloaded disappeared as if I didn't, I don't know about computers to know whats wrong. But at Somepoint in yesterday April 3 and and today April 4. I'm getting notification for a virus, I know it's not this or WickedWhims. I was just redownloading WickedWhims after a while of not using it. It's possible in the session of Wicked Whims there was something, that is the only possible time, because I also going to try a mod that I found on the source page of that mod. I did a scan to help fix it that took hours to do, but that wasn't succuessful. I don't know why, I don't think any of this is set up for all kind of people like austistic people or like something else. i don't know how to make this better. I don't think my problems is an autistic, it feels like it would have happened to anyone else.

Just coming with a quick announcement.

From now on my download release schedule will be more frequent and themed. You will see 2 or 3 new, themed files each day, and each theme will be broke down with a one day break. In the next 2 weeks there will be 8 new walls/floors. I can already mention that the first theme will be books. ☺

TOU Update!

Hey simmies! So I wanted to clarify my TOU since it says different things in multiple places. I 100% allow recolros on ALL of my content (some of my old TSR uploads say I do not allow recolors - I just have not gone back and changed them). The only requests I have are as follows:

1) Do not include the mesh and give a link so downloaders can get the original mesh.

2) Do not use spammy links/adfly for your recolors.

3) Please tag me or share it with me so I can reblog it! I am limited to 8 swatches on TSR so recolors give users tons of more options and I like to make sure I share them so more people can use them :) If you are reddit, please also post to my subreddit r/ravasheen so others can download!

FIX FRAME BEDS AND BUNK

Hi simmers!

After updating the game 1.60, the bed on the frame, as well as the bunk beds, broke. I tried to correct this error, but it was impossible to do as before. Now there are no slots and mattresses are simply placed on top of the frame. For bunk beds (Alwine kidsroom) added another mattress for the upper tier. Now the sims sleep without problems. But there was a slight minus - Sims can go through the beds)))
Beds fixed in the sets of Alwine kidsroom, Moroccan berdoom and Lenny kidsroom.

The Shops Reopens

Hi Fellow Simmers,

I have recently returned to creating for The Sims.

I once ran a site called A Little Sim Shop. It was up for almost 4 years when my computer was stolen with all I had, so I had to close the site.

I have reopen the shop in a differnent way, instead of a web site that offers my creations it's the shop in my games that sells my creations to my sims.

So the shop is now a store in Sims 4 World and I have some Pictures to share.

Return of the Prodigal Rust-Monger

It may come as a disappointment, but I'm returning.  It's quite sickening to see all these twee lots and frilly furniture, so I'm going to spoil it all over again.  Look out for new releases for Sims 4 in March, together with some conversions from some of my Sims 3 catalogue.
