Well it wasn't that big of a deal or anything but for example during the dinner scene when he was staring at the other dinner tables, I felt as though it strayed a bit. But I understand why you would incorporate it in the story, you were trying to show how he felt guilty about his own family. So as I said, it isn't that big of a deal that it affected the story in any way it was just my own opinion.

Hey Sam Sorry for the late reply To achieve a plain background there a several methods you can use: 1) Simply use a plain background wallpaper (I use a set by HP at MTS2) 2) Take your picture against a plain backgroun, erase it with the magic eraser in Photoshop, then fill in your own background. Oh I don't mind at all! I'm a good listener (reader) I love to read, so I just had to throw that out there. To me your stories are truly like reading a novel with pictures attached and I love that! It's like while reading a regular novel you have the "movie" playing in your imagination, since the author describes so much to picture the chracters and the suroundings.

Gayl and I do more than bounce things around. The entire world is connected including neighborhoods, lots and characters. I share everything I write to make sure I haven't written something about her characters that doesn't ring true. She's written parts of my work, and I've helped with some of hers. We share screen shots. It's a very close collaboration. It's a lot of fun to do. I highly recommend it!

LOL! Yes, you did leave me a nice comment, but you caught me on something. I haven't written much about Tyler and Amanda's background. It's in my head. He's laid back. She's intense. He does seem like a decent guy but I guess a lot of men have trouble with staying power no matter how nice they are. You've portrayed that part really well.

LOL -- yes I did prefer the "director's cut"! So many small details -- adjectives and language that absolutely added to the atmosphere. Again, I really admire your style. It's unique.
