Troubledgirl, I use Paint Shop Pro 7, it's all I use. anyways, if you open Sim PE, over on the right side, you should see a place that says Object Workshop. It's pretty much the same as wizard, but a little more flexible. From there, you can rather do start, and it will take you through the same steps as wizard, or you can do open. Once you get your object open that you want to edit, you click export on the top of the image, and it will export it to what ever directory you save it to. Then I open it in PSP, and recolor, save, then I import it back into the Sim PE. Once you have imported it, you have to click on commit or your changes won't take effect. Then save and close your package before copying the package file to your download directory for checking for changes. Once you get that down well, where you know pretty much what you are doing, I'll teach ya about DSS and how to install it into Sim PE, it will greatly increase your graphics quality on your sets. It cleans them up nicely, and makes it take great screenshots too. If you have Yahoo Messenger, I can walk you through it sometime. Let me know. Midland_04

Troubledgirl, If you can recolor through wizard using maxis bases, you can do custom meshes too... Instead of clicking start, and choosing the item you want to recolor, click on open, and make sure you have your custom mesh unzipped away from your download directory so you can find it. Load that mesh, and from there it's just like the maxis recolors, export your .png's, recolor them, and then re-import them back in. Are you using DDS Utilities with SimPE? If you are, it will help keep your recolors clearer. If you need any help with recolors, I'll help as much as I can, but unfortunately, most people are using photoshop to do recolors, and I'm on Paint shop pro, so I can't help step by step. Midland_04

Troubledgirl, I used to be the same way, so I try to leave good comments on stuff I download also. I can't create my own stuff either mesh wise, but you know recolors aren't that difficult. You might look into that sometime. Look for a real good tutorial, some make it sound more complicated than it really is. Have a wonderful evening. Midland_04
