I think that this picture has symbollic significance. The girl in the background is complimenting an unseen sim, and yet, Sam - my sim- looks as if she is complimenting him. Also note the other sims in the background- talking amongst themselves. In this picture, it seems as if Sam is causing himself to believe that all of the attention being lavished on the sims around him is actually being lavished on him, and he is walking in the glory of this lavished attention. It also looks as if everything is going in slow motion, adding to the concept of Sam being in a dream state. Huh. Or maybe I read too deeply into things. :)
