Site stability and performance update

This week has been has been extremely busy with around the clock work to make some fundamental changes to how pages are generated and reused (cached) on the site, and we have high hopes that this change should improve the stability of the site. We have also invested in a new central storage solution to make sure we have room for all your upcoming Sims creations, as well as stories, screenshots, gallery images etc. Unfortunately we got some stability issues with the way we integrated this new hardware, which forced us into doing the already mentioned fundamental changes. The good thing is that this new setup is much better than the old one.

We are also aware of that some pages might load slow sometimes, especially during high traffic hours. We know where the bottleneck is, and we hope to have a solution for this in the place the coming week.

As an end user, no matter if you're a subscriber or free member, you shouldn't need to care about these very technical details of course. But I just want you all to know that we are working extremely hard to fix any issues that you might experience.

Hi Guys, Just to let you know, when you submit a new blog, in the "Tag" section, it adds an extra character, it looks like the letter "r"? It adds it after everything you write in the Tag section. It never did this at first but it does it all the time now. Maybe some kind of bug?

Hi Guys, I am having problems with Submissions again. I found a workaround, which I helped a few other users with, but now that's not working as it was. I put in all the info, attatch the files etc, it says its updated then the whole screen just goes blue?? I close the screen and go to open a new submissions window and it does exactly the same blue screen? I am trying to upload a set of Wallpapers. Usually the first header/section is for your main Jpeg and description for the set. I put all the info in and then I get the message "No file attached". You don't put a file in this section only the Jpeg. It has never done this before?? Help!!!

Thanks for the feedback. $\:\)$ This week has also been extremely busy, and when it comes to site performance we have already fixed a few, and we have another fix on the way which we have high hopes on. We'll post a separate update on this once it's completed.

Hey!!  When u first started redoing the site, I hated it, cause I couldn't find anything, but now that I've got it down, it's looking Great!  I love the new layout.  The only concern I am having is I haven't been able to get into my guestbook, or anyone elses for weeks, and haven't heard anything back under support either.  Hope it's fixed soon, got a bunch of feedback I'd love to answer.  $\:D$ Keep up the great work guys!
