Hi pianocuris, so sorry to hear your having trouble installing my Small Modern Lot. It is a base game lot so it should work with any expansion pack. Forgive me if you already know this, but when you download, be sure to save the lot in My Documents, EA Games, Sims2, Downloads. You will see the 3 little book icon with the lot name next to it. Right click on it and choose Extract here. Wait a few seconds and a sims2pack icon with the lot name will appear, probably at the bottom of your download folder. Double left click on it, and the game installer should open. Click install. Start your game and you should find the lot in the lots catalog in neighborhood mode, probably all the way at the end.
