Kitty Crazy ; struggling single mom
household; Kitty Crazy = adult
Sindee Crazy = teen
Jinni Crazy = child
Fall meant more work around the house. Kitty Crazy couldn’t afford to hire a maid or a gardener. Unlike other nature enthusiasts, Kitty’s vegetable garden wasn’t just a hobby but a vital asset. She’d sunk every penny she had in her new home. It was a bit bigger then her last one. Her two daughters, Sindee and Jenni still had to share a room. Yet she was able to give the girls a better life then she had her son Dan.
Not the marring kind, Kitty had a lot of boyfriends. When she first moved to Pleasantview she got involved with a married man named Daniel Pleasant. She had a son with him. Daniel wasn’t a very doting father, but he did try to spent time with Dan. His wife, Mary Sue, however had been a great help to Kitty. She visited often and had even once taken care of Dan as an infant letting Kitty catch up on some sleep. Mary Sue encouraged her daughters Lilith, Angela and Megan to spend time with their brother. Lilith was more involved, she spent hours playing catch with Dan. Angela called him frequently, occasionally stopping by to gossip with him. Megan was distant and seldom bothered with her brother. Mary-sue and Lilith never missed one of Dan’s birthday parties and Lilith had attended his college graduation.
Sindee and Jenni didn’t have the same kind of family connections. Their father was a townie named Sinjin Couderc. He’d been by to meet the girls but hardly talked to them. He never showed up for any of their birthdays.
Kitty struggled to make ends meet. Dan was already moved out with a child of his own by the time Sindee was born. It was the Birth of her granddaughter Kitten Lames that made Kitty realize she had been drinking from the Elixir of life a little too much. Almost every sim she had known when she first moved to the neighborhood was either dead or an elder with only two exceptions, and one of them finally succumbed to time and grew up to an elder. The new laws limiting the use of elixir was forcing those who wanted to be young forever grow old.
As Kitty pulled weeds in her garden she thought about what a blessing in disguise becoming an elder might actually be, but for now she knew she still had a good amount of time left enjoying her status as an adult or at least try to enjoy it.
Kitty had left her dream job of being a professional party guest for more steady work in the entertainment field. It paid a little better but it left her little time for her romantic pursuits. Her garden and yard work took up most her time at home.
The house work was left to Sindee to do. The teen also cared for her little sister. Now that Jenni was a child, she could do a lot more for herself. Sindee was a smart girl and breezed through her homework. She never had to get caught up on it. It was a good thing since she spent so much time cleaning the house and preparing meals. She won two scholarships for college. She didn’t get to pursue her love of sports often. She mostly watched it on TV, but ever so often one of her mom’s many boyfriends would toss a football with her.
Jinni, like her sister, was a grouchy but friendly sim. She brought a friend home from school almost everyday. She played cops and robbers with Rob Kim one day and mary mac with Betsey Broke the next. Jim-Bob Broke came over a different day and joined her on the playground.
Sindee greeted a townie who hung around for a while, he got to talking with Kitty and decided to set her up on a blind date with Dean Caliente. Having another new guy hanging out with their mom was very upsetting to the girls. they went to bed early not wanting to be around the dating couple.
Kitty got along very well with Dean. Tired from a long day she invited him to relax on the bed with her while they talked. They talked for a little while until Kitty couldn’t stay up any longer. She got in her PJs and went to sleep.
Sindee got up early the next day. She was glad it was a Saturday. She put her sports channel on. She was surprised when Dean joined her on the couch still in the same work cloths he’d arrived in. He talked with her for a little while, before he headed home.
When Kitty got up she served pancakes for the girls and then it was time for chores. Sindee cleaned the three bathrooms and made all the beds. Jinni picked up the leaf piles her mother had racked up and composted them. Both girls cleaned up the dead flower beds and old newspapers. In the afternoon Kitty served the girls some lunch meat sandwiches before letting them enjoy the rest of the day while she pulled weeds in the garden. Jenni ran for her playground and Sindee called some friends.
Sunday brought a going away party for Sindee. She had finally reached the age to go off to college. Kitty mostly invited her friends. Dan showed up with his wife Mellow. Sindee hadn’t been surprised that her father hadn’t showed up for her party. Kitty splurged and bought some important items for her daughter’s dorm.
Sindee didn’t leave right away after the party. She waited til everyone left and her mother had gone to bed. She spent some time playing catch with Jenni. They watched a movie together and chatted. Finally it was time for Jenni to go to sleep. Sindee hugged and kissed her little sister good-bye.
“don’t cry” she told her, “I’ll be home for your birthday soon.”
Jenni wait for the taxi to leave with her sister before she went to bed.
Dina and Stanley Caliente ; A son's return
Household; Dina Caliente = elder
Stanley Caliente = Adult
What Stanley found when he returned home from college was not what he had expected. His Mother, Dina had become an empty shell of a woman. She got up early to tend her garden, she went to work and when she came home she raked leaves before going to bed. Their were nature magazines and art magazines laying untouched all over the front lawn and a few scattered about inside the house. The maid would clean up the paper at least which drove Dina nuts.
“I want that for my compost,” she’d complain. She refused to let Stanley help with the garden like he had when he was growing up.
“I pay a gardener to do that” she’d protest.
Sometimes at night he’d see her standing over his father’s grave crying.
Dina had never been able to marry Stetson. She had once been dating Mortamer Goth with plans to get engaged. She was however fooling around with Don Lotherio. She had been woohooing with Don when Mortermer had walked in on them. They’d had a hugh fight and Mortamer stopped seeing her. Instead he married a single mother named Brandi Broke. Don had been engaged to Cassandra Goth, Mortamer’s daughter, and was also dating Dina’s sister, Nina. Eventully, Cassandra broke it off with Don and he went on to marry Nina. Dina, now alone started seeing a townie by the name of Carl Fuchs and eventully got engaged. Dina had been preparing herself to settle for a life with Carl when two brothers moved to Peasantview. Staphon and Stetson Studly were like night and day. The Dark haired Staphon was all about romance, with a happy outgoing personality. He didn’t take anything very serious. Stetson’s blonde hair wasn’t the only thing that was a contrast to his brother. He was a family man with a very serious nature. Dina fell hard for the brooding Stetson. They wanted to get married but Carl refused to break their engagement. Dina and Stetson tried everything to make Carl mad enough to break it off. Neighbors even tried to help. Carl didn’t care. He just kept coming around. Dina and Stetson finally gave up trying and went on with their lives. Stetson moved in with Dina in the house she once shared with her sister Nina. They had their oldest son, Dean. Wanting more space they bought Darren Dreamer’s old house. Stanley was born a short while later.
After Stetson died, Dina had a hard time moving on. She still thought about him. She had tried finding ways to fill her time. She dated Robert Kim a few times after his wife died, but he passed away shortly after. Dustin Broke now visited with her from time to time. His wife had died recently and they were both feeling the pain of loneliness.
Stanley was doing his best to care for his mom. He invited friends over and Dina enjoyed talking with them.
Dina talked to Kitten Lames about her grandfather Daniel Pleasant. Kitten enjoyed it, having never met him. Dina told Brandon Roseland stories from when his dad, Cyd first moved to Pleasantview with his little gray dog. She had many stories for Bobbie Happiness about the Kim family, as well as, his grandmother Hope Happiness.
Stanley never knew what he was going to come home to. His mom often left food out. He discovered the bills were piling up in the mail box. Once he came home to find Sindee Crazy playing on the monkey bars.
“Your mom made me lunch,” Sindee told him, “I think she went to bed cause I haven’t seen her.”
It took some doing, but Stanley convince his mom to retire from work and just enjoy what time she had left. He was starting to get the feeling that life had lost its joy for her. Stanley barely found the time to think about his fiancée Sydney Roseland or plan a wedding. He hoped once he got his mom back on track he could start building a family of his own with Sydney.
Mel Fancey; A New Additude
Household: Mel Fancey = Adult
Scout = adult male dog
If Mel was going to find love then he would have to change his approach. His new home was the perfect start for drastic changes. He was barely settled in when he got invited on an outing by Megan (Pleasant) Dreamer.
He’d known Megan from when they were teens, before she met Dirk. They’d never really been more then friends. They didn’t have much chemistry before. Yet now, as adults they shared 3. He spent most of the time at the park talking with her. He bought her an espresso. He invited everyone back to his place, Megan and Alexander where the only ones to stay a while.
Alexander watched TV while Mel and Megan talked. She wasn’t as happy with Dirk as she’d hoped. She complained about his step mom. She talked about the distance with her sisters and how she hardly knew their half brother. She was sad that she didn’t know her 5 nieces.
“Why don’t you stay the night to forget your problems for a bit,” Mel suggested. He spent the rest of the night romancing her. Alexander Goth wouldn’t leave even after being asked. He just kept on watching TV. Mel and Megan ignored them as they made their way to Mel’s room to relax on his bed for more romance that led to woohoo.
In the morning, Mel discovered that Alexander had left at sometime in the night. He served up some omelets but as he was putting the meal on the table Megan ran out the house mumbling to herself.
Mel ate his breakfast thinking about the trouble he might have started, but he was sure he could steal Megan away from Dirk.
He cleaned up his dish, put the leftovers away and gave Scout a bath before getting ready for work.
He spent the next few days fixing up the house and caring for Scout. He started thinking about possibly trying to breed Scout. Now that he was in a house of his own he had the room to have more then one dog.
He invited Heart Happiness over. They had lived in the same dorm at college. They had only been friends with no chemistry. He enjoyed her company though. She also was having problems at home. Her step dad was driving her nuts and her half brother’s wife refused to let him move in with them. Heart was happy in her marriage despite her constant involvement with Justin Kim. Mel told her about his problems with Justin’s younger sister, Claire and about how Justin had been harassing Lizzy.
“Bobbie told me about his date with your sister and Justin’s behavior,” Heart sighed.
“Sometimes times those Kim’s just make you want to get even with them.” Mel laughed.
“What did you have in mind?” Heart asked.
Sometime in the night Mel woke to see Heart quickly dress and slip from his room. He knew he was acting just like a romance sim and started wondering if his new direction in life was something he really wanted. He sighed, rolled over and went back to sleep.
Melissia and Stephon Fancey: Lizzy's delemia Part two
household: Melissa Fancey=elder
Staphon Fancey = adult/elder
Lizzy Fancey = adult
Stacey Fancey= teen
Panda= wormrat.
Lizzy’s problem with Justin Kim was becoming quite worrisome for Staphon. Not to mention he was really starting to miss reading the sports section in the paper every morning. Everyone was tired of picking up trash. Every time someone tried to talk to Justin in hopes of getting him to leave them alone, he would just make himself at home. It seemed the only good thing to come from Lizzy having gone on a date with Bobbie was the pinball machine the young man had left in the middle of the night. Staphon was glad he’d been awake when it was dropped off.
Mel’s moving out added another problem for Staphon. It may have only been a case of poor timing, but it was still a problem. Melissa had the flu. Staphon, had had a twenty-four hour case of it, but Melissa was very sick with it.
Stacey being an inquisitive knowledge sim spent a few hours keeping her sick mom company. Stacey was full of questions about her siblings, trying to understand the crazy mess between her brother’s Mel and Sam. She wanted to learn more about her brother Steve. She wanted to make sense of Justin’s reaction to Lizzy having a date with Bobbie.
One of Stacey’s friends popped in for a visit. A young red haired girl named Kendra Pleasant. Lizzy chatted politely with Kendra while she waited for Stacey. As the conversation started to lag, Lizzy’s attention was drawn to the windows behind the couch where Kendra sat. Gordon Hurt, a townie Lizzy had once dated was walking by. Without a second though of Kendra, Lizzy ran from the house to greet Gordon.
“Hey, it’s been a while,” Lizzy said with a smile. She stood out front talking with Gordon for a bit, ignoring Justin as he kicked over the trash can.
Lizzy enjoyed two chemistry with Gordon. Though she couldn’t recall much of how she had developed a crush on him, she couldn’t help but think how cute their kids would be. She had to be sure though if he would be a good match for her. She knew there was a growing disapproval of residents marring townies. Lizzy didn’t have anything against townies. Her mom had once been a townie.
Only a date would help Lizzy know for sure if a townie was someone she could spend the rest of her life with. She asked Gordon, and he accepted. They date was a lot of fun for being just at her house. By the end of it they both felt a want to get married to each other. Lizzy didn’t know if she should rush into it. After all, she had rushed things a bit on her date with Bobbie. Just barely dodging becoming another single mom in the neighborhood.
The next morning Melissa was still sick with the flu. Lizzy had already gone to work and the carpool would be arriving for Staphon soon. Stacey would be home alone to tend to her sick mother. Staphon didn’t want to leave the teen alone to tend her mom and have to deal with the headache of Justin Kim. He made a few phone calls. Only Saturday Lames was willing to keep an eye over the teenage girl.
Saturday brought her son, Morty with her. It was the first time Stacey had met him. A quick flirt revealed they had chemisty for each other. The young teens decided to spend the day hanging out infront of the house. Ever the vigilant mother, Saturday joined the two teens, guiding them away from more adult type conversations.
The day passed by quickly and Justin free. As Staphon returned from work, Justin ran by stealing the newspaper. Everyone yelled at him, but he kept on running with Stephon’s paper.
Lizzy returned home with some good news. Gordon had pulled some strings at work and gotten her a promotion. She felt moved by his actions. It was much more appealing to her fortune nature then Bobbie’s pinball machine.
After the company had left, Stacey was getting restless. She really wanted a cell phone. She called a taxi, then realizing it was 2am she asked Lizzy to go with her.
“I can get a phone and we can buy everyone new cloths. Dad’s gonna be an elder soon, he’s gonna need something to wear.” Stacey reasoned with her sister.
Wanting to spend more time with her sister, Lizzy readily agreed.
Stacey got her phone from the machine at Cold Issue Cloths while her sister picked out new cloths for everyone.
“don’t forget a wedding dress.” Stacey teased with a wink.
While the girls were shopping Claire Kim appeared. Stacey wasn’t sure what to do, but when she saw Lizzy talking to her, she warmed up to the idea of being nice to Claire. She even talked to the pregnate sim’s belly. Stacey was having so much fun talking to all the different sims. Her little shopping trip was made better when Mel appeared. Stacey ran to him and gave him a big friendly hug. She miss her older brother even though it had only been a few days since he moved out.
Sunday brought Staphon’s Birthday. While he was at work Lizzy and Stacey put ballons everywhere. Melissa invited all the boys to come home for the party. Lizzy surprised her dad by getting both of his brother’s sons, Dean and Stanley Caliente to come. Brian Broke joined the party along with his daughter Kendra Pleasant. Sydney Roseland had stopped by earlier in the day and stayed for the party. Stacey invited Morty over.
Staphon grew up well into an elder and everyone enjoyed some cake. Sam and Dean had a pillow fight. Steve chatted away with Stacey. Lizzy got Stanley to dance with her like they use to do back in college. Mel got a smulte going. At some point Sam started cleaning up. As the party started to wind down, Stacey got a first kiss from Morty. Even Panda, the family’s wormrat was included as sims lined up to play with him. Staphon found time to change his outfit to show off the cloths his daughters had bought for him.
After a roof raiser of a party, Stacey fell right to sleep. Lizzy started cleaning up. As she went through the house gathering deflated balloons she saw her parents dancing together in the kitchen. She knew that the kind of love they shared was what she wanted for her life. She wanted someone who would cuddle under the stars in their underwear with her. Someone who would ignore their own needs, just to share a romantic kiss. Mostly she wanted someone who would dance with her long after the party was over. She knew in her heart who she would marry. She smiled to herself as she gathered the ballons from outside.
update from me, and some stories from behind the stories
sorry it is taking so long to get the second half of "Lizzy's Delimia" up. I am in the process of writing it, between loads of laundry. :) I hope to have it up sometime today. tomarrow at the latest. sorry it is such a long story. of my 23 houses that one takes the longest to play. nearly a week...so many people in there. Part of why I had Mel move out.
hopefully I will be able to get "Lizzy's Delimia" done today, along with doing Mel's new home. as sims move around it will change when their story appears. since Mel moved basicly next door to his parents, he will be next. after him is Dina Caliente. Both stories should be relativly short. After that will be a sim I created, Kitty Crazy. I started playing Angela Pleasant's house last night so her story will be with in the next few days.
I want to say thank-you!!!!!!! to all of you who have bookmarked me as an artist. I truely appreciated the complament of being seen as an artist and it gave a great boost to my self confadence.
Also, if you have fallen in love with any particual sim and their story it may take a while to get back to them. I did a sim yearly cencus and discovered I now have 60 sims living in 23 houses, apartments and/or dorms....yikes. It took me a while to fall into a better rythem with my game playing. Some of my self impsoed rules for population control is starting to work. Before I put a limit on how often sims could drink the elixer of life, I had adult sims that were becoming close to the same age as their kids. Kitty Crazy was one such sim, however she should become an elder soon. Melissa and Staphon are mostly responsible for why romance sims are currently banned from marring. their daughter Lizzy was not an attempt for a baby by me. I told them to woo-hoo because Melissa's aperation meter was so low she was having breakdowns instead of caring for her infant. three times the game changed it to try for baby, and no matter how much I tryed to stop it, well...Lizzy happened. I find having romace sims acting as trouble makers more intresting, and keeps the game from becoming boring.
so as some of my older sims start to die out I think the population will start to drop. making for less sims to follow. since I am only trying for baby every 5th woohoo, the number of new borns has dropped. however, the number of twins born is on the rise.
the so called "bias" against townies is basicly me not wanting to add more sims for me to have to play. I've been incorperatiing it into the stories as an added twist to the nieghborhoods socially shared belief system to give them a more shared culture.
enjoy the stories, many of them interact with each other so your faves will put in appereances. with their being 60 of them they're not a very tight knit community anymore. so there are different circles.
Melissia and Stephon Fancey: Lizzy's delemia Part one
household: Stephon Fancey= adult
Melissa Fancey = elder
Mel Fancey = adult
Lizzy Fancey = adult
Stacey Fancey = teen
Scout = adult male dog
Panda = wormrat
Melissa Fancey was taking the growing dislike of townies very personal. Partly because she had once been a townie herself, but mostly because despite the fact that no one ever used her name, her life was fuel to the bias.
Melissa didn’t remember much about life as a townie. To her, life began when she first met the Studly brothers. It had been the blonde haired Stetson who first greeted her outside the tiny house he shared with his brother Staphon. Almost anyone would have become enamored by Stetsons serious nature and family aspiration. Only it had been the dark haired, blue eyed Staphon who charmed her. Despite his having a fling with another Pleasantview new comer, Hope Happiness, Melissa won his heart away. Taking advantage of Hope being sick with food poisoning, Melissa spent a lot of time with Staphon. It was on a very successful dream date that Staphon asked her to move in with him. They conceived their first child Mel right away. They built a second floor to the tiny house. Leaving Staphon’s old bedroom and bathroom intake downstairs, they built a master suite with bathroom and study upstairs. They also created two more small bedrooms and an extra bath upstairs. Despite not having plans for a big family, the decision to build so many rooms turned out to be wise decision.
Mel was their eldest. Steve was next and Lizzy was born just before Steve grew up to a toddler. Sam followed a short while later. Just when the house was nearly empty, with only Sam still at home Stacey came along. Just as Sam was getting ready to go off to college Mel graduated and moved back home. Steve bought a small one bedroom house downtown when he was done college. Lizzy unsure what she wanted moved back home.
Melissa had a house full again. She was glad she was now an Elder. She loved her kids but she really didn’t want anymore.
Staphon hadn’t wanted to grow old. He had once been older then his wife but he’d had hit the elixir of life a lot harder then her. Since the new laws were enacted regulating the use of the youth bringing elixir he was slowly growing older. As his birthday drew closer he thought about his brother, Stetson who had passed away already. His relationship with his brother had been strained by Staphon’s relationship with Melissa. Stetson had caught Melissa having an affair with a town named Taylor Raymond many times, and thought his brother should have found someone else. Staphon however didn’t care who his wife snuck around on him with. He knew all five of their kids where his. He stepped out on her from time to time. They were both romantic Sims, they enjoyed the fun of it, and let the other do as they wanted. They shared a strong loving bond that no one else could replace.
Melissa and Staphon took the news that Sam was going to be a father with mixed emotions. They were happy for Sam, but finding out who the mother of his child was of great concern. Claire Kim was engaged to Mel. One son’s happiness was also another son’s pain.
Mel couldn’t bring himself to be mad at his little brother, and tried to swallow his feelings about the situation. He spent more time with his dog Scout. Mel wanted to have six pets reach the top of their careers and Scout was getting very close.
Lizzy was facing her own dilemmas. She was trying to find herself a spouse. She was one of the few Sims in Pleasantview who didn’t graduate college with a clear idea of who she would marry. There weren’t many options available to her. Most of the young guys she knew were either one of her brothers or cousins. She had started dating Brandon Roseland in college. They only shared one chemistry in college. She’d had a brief fling with Justin Kim but he was much older and left college while she was still a freshman. She felt as if Brandon would be her only option.
On a visit to Sim State to see Brandon she met his new dorm mate. Bobbie Happiness had just enrolled at college. He flirted with her and the felt two chemistry for each other. Lizzy thought perhaps she wouldn’t have to settle with one chemistry after all.
She called him up and invited him to Doc Allen’s hangout for a date.
The date seemed to be off to a good started, as she leaned in for a romantic kiss, Justin Kim appeared on the lot and started smacking her. He was yelling things like “you belong to me” and “what are you doing out with my son?”
‘What have I missed?’ Lizzy wondered.
“Don’t worry about my dad,” Bobbie smiled, “we’re having fun.”
Lizzy looked closer at Bobbie and realized he did look like Justin only with longer hair. She hadn’t realized that Justin was the father of Heart’s son.
“Let’s just go back to my house.” Lizzy suggested.
There was no avoiding Justin now. Lizzy and Bobbie were barely out of the cab when Justin went running by and stole the newspaper right out of Stephon’s hands.
Bobbie insisted they just ignore his father’s behavior and enjoy the rest of the date. A soak in the hot tub was just what Lizzy needed to relieve the stress of the unexpected problem.
The rest of the date went well. On an impulse they tried for baby in the hot tub. Lizzy was thankful for the absent of the baby chime as she climbed out of the bubbly water. She went in the house to serve a light dinner of mac and cheese. Stacey happy to see her friend home from college jumped in the hot tub to talk with Bobbie.
Stacey had never shared any chemistry with Bobbie, but they had become friends when he was a teen and she’d been a child. She was glad he was having fun on a date with her sister. When Justin went by kicking over the trash she learned the date was not as much fun for Lizzy.
Mel found himself picking up the trash can again. Long after Bobbie went back to the dorm, Justin was still kicking over the trash can.
“Come on Scout, let’s take a walk” Mel said. Everyone was sleeping and Mel need to think. The house wasn’t big enough for two single adults to enjoy the company of a date. Other then his parents’ bedroom, Mel’s was the only bedroom big enough for a double bed. With Claire living downtown on her own, and Lizzy not sure who to get engaged too, Mel felt it was time to make a change in his own life.
While out walking, Mel found a nice little two bedroom house. It was just around the corner from his parent’s house. He could be close to his family and yet have the privacy to plan the direction of his life.
After work Mel packed up his room, Scout’s stuff and the downstairs bathroom. He called a cab, cleaned up the kicked over trash can and moved out.
Melissa was sad to see her son leave. She was going to have her hands full with Lizzy, she watched out the window as Justin Kim kicked over the trash can.
To be continued…….
Beau Broke and Snow Kim; Planning for the Future.
Household; Beau Broke= adult
Snow Kim = Adult
Suzi = adult female dog
Jake = adult male dog
Rainbow = Bird
No sooner had Snow Kim stepped out of the taxi in front of Beau Broke’s house did she determine they had to move. His house was big enough for the two of them and his two small dogs Suzi and Jake. She wanted kids someday, and they both aspired to raise twenty kittens or puppies. The house wasn’t going to work.
Snow had already raised one puppy, Leroy who she had to leave with her parents when she had gone off to Sim State. Beau had raised both Suzi and Jake. Breeding the two dogs was the next step the couple had planned.
Snow had looked at houses in pleasantview and determined the only house that was big enough and within their price range was the Federal Fortress. It would take every simolion they had to buy. They would have to put their wedding plans on hold until winter.
Beau was fine with moving. He’d only been in the small house for two seasons. He had decided not to redecorate until he knew what Snow wanted to do. He just didn’t expect her to want to move upon arrival. He’d thought she would wait until after the wedding. Maybe even wait until she was with child. He did like the idea of no longer living in a house with pink walls in every room.
The new house was huge and what little furniture they both owned didn’t even fill the house. Having spent nearly everything they had on the house they had to wait a few days before they could do some serious decorating. They used what little simolions they had left to purchase a dog house to breed the dogs and a bird cage with a green bird they named Rainbow.
The breeding of the dogs had to wait as Suzi’s needs fell into the red. Snow had to phone the dog in sick to work to spend time giving Suzi lots of social and fun. The task of getting Suzi happy again was made easy by an unexpected visit from Bell and Prof. Eric Goth. Prof. Eric was fond of the little brown dog and instantly started playing with her. Snow grateful for her friends’ help served some lunchmeat sandwiches for lunch. Snow and Bell had started their friendship as teens. In college they had become closer friends. Snow had met Beau through Bell. Bell had dated him in college but their chemistry wasn’t very high. Bell fell for Professor Eric and began pursuing him. Snow having discovered that she shared three chemistry with Beau began planning a life with him.
The two dogs and the bird seemed to consume the young couples time. Beau wasn’t sure how he had managed keeping the dogs happy before Snow. They took turns bathing the dogs and playing with them. Rainbow was at first only aloud out of the cage when one of them was home, but when they realized the dogs paid no attention to it the cage stayed open. Beau seemed to enjoy spending time with the bird the most. He cleaned its cage, kept its food dish full and was teaching it to talk. Snow played with it from time to time but she focused primarily on trying to get the dogs to breed. Finally Beau managed to get the dogs to try, but is didn’t seem to work.
Frustrated by the lack of money Beau started polishing an old lamp someone had left on the back porch of his old house. He figured cleaning it up would make it easer to sell. The began to shake and Beau dropped it. A puff of purple smoke billowed from it, materializing into a genie.
“I will grant three wish for your household, please choose from my menu” the Genie roared with laughter.
Beau looked over the choices. There was a lot of interesting things to choose, but they needed money.
“Wealth it is then,” the genie laughed, “watch out for falling objects.”
The genie disappeared back into the lamp. Beau didn’t get much time to ponder what the genie had meant when a large sack of simolions just dropped from the sky.
Snow was excited to discover the new family funds. She called a cab and rushed to the Bluewater shopping district for a wedding dress. She went to Amelia’s Closet and got a whole new wardrobe for herself. In her excitement over finding the perfect wedding dress she forgot to pick up some new cloths for Beau.
It was a disappoint to Beau at first, not finding anything new to wear but it was quickly forgotten when Snow suggested new wall coverings and redecorating their old miss-matched furniture. The downstairs part of the house was done complete in lavender. Each room had a slight variation on how the color was used and gave a nice flow to the open floor plan. The soft purple made Beau’s white living room set stand out.
The upstairs hallway also got lavender but richer colors where added to the other rooms. The master suite was given a rich spice color on the walls but the furniture was done in a soft yellow. Snow changed the look of the bed with bold colored diagonal striped bedding. When they went to bed in the newly decorated room they whispered some about their plans for the future. They both fell asleep with soft smiles on their faces as they though of filling the house with children and puppies.
Danny Lothario ; dating his way through life
household: Danny Lothario = adult
Danny Lothario pulled his red Mustang GTE into his driveway outside the house that had once been his father. Fall was off to an amazing start for him. He’d gotten to meet his first nephew Rob Kim at the boy’s childhood party. Work was going great. He gave a lecture on weather control that went so great he got a large bonus, and later that same day he was promoted.
Keith Traver, a townie from work stepped out of the mustang and followed Danny into the house.
“Hey, instead of just hanging out, why don’t we just have a date instead?” Danny asked.
“Sounds fun,” Keith agreed with a shrug.
They chatted a while, Danny tickled Keith a few times and they laughed as they chased each other around in a pillow fight. Danny served up a wonderful chef salad.
“I’m having a great time.” Keith sighed as Danny put the leftovers away.
Danny smiled. “Care to finish the evening with a soak in the hot tub?”
Keith grinned rising form the small dinner table and followed Danny to the roof. They jumped into the hot bubbly water and began chatting about Danny’s telescope.
“Come cuddle with me, and I’ll point out the different stars,” Danny whispered.
They spent the rest of the date just cuddling.
”Wow what a dream of a date this has been,” Keith climbed out of the hot tub, “I hate to go but it’s getting late.”
Danny got out and gave Keith a hug goodnight.
After Keith left, Danny looked through his telescope for an hour. It was getting close to bed time. Back in his room, he stopped to look at his ant farm. He made a bunch of silly faces at the ants then gave them a good shack.
“Date number ten,” Danny told the ants as he made more faces at them. “Only forty more to go.”
Danny was all about pleasure, and what could be more fun then a life goal of fifty first dates. He’d had some that were total flops and some that had been dream dates that had led to some woo-hoo. Danny didn’t care if his dates ended in woo-hoo or not. He just liked the one on one fun that only happened on dates.
Friday didn’t bring him time to date. He had chores around the house and skills to build. He also wanted to spend some time enjoying his hobby in science. Being in the education career he got his weekends off. He called up Mel Fancey to see if he was up for a date but Mel was still down over Danny’s half-sister Claire Kim. Mel didn’t think a date with Danny was going to improve his mood. Sydney Roseland, however, was very willing to accept Danny’s invitation.
Danny picked her up in his mustang and took her downtown to Nifty Fifty Dinner. They chatted a bit before getting a table outside. Danny ordered filet minion for them. Sydney couldn’t stop chatting about Danny’s cousin, Stanley Caliente. She was sure she wanted to marry him; just she also had dreams about Dan Crazy who was already married to Mellow.
Danny listened patiently as Sydney sorted her wants over dinner.
“How about a nice classic dance to take your mind off things,” Danny suggested as he led her to an open area.
While they were dancing Danny spotted Mel playing chess with Gilly Broke. He danced with Sydney for an hour. He kept his attention on her. There would be plenty of time to talk with Mel later.
After the dance they wrapped up the date. Sydney had also spotted a few sims she wanted to go hang out with.
“Thank you for the dream date,” Sydney whispered giving him a quick peck.
Danny turned his attention to Mel. “You know my other sister, Donella also likes you. Sure it’s only one chemistry but many sims have happy lives together on just one.”
“I’ve talked with her, we get along well enough,” Mel said, “But Claire and I are engaged.”
“Neila will be going to college soon. Perhaps you will share the same kind of chemistry with her as you had with Claire. You’re still fairly young enough to wait.” Danny suggested, “have you had a chance to talk with Kitten Crazy since she went to college?”
“I appreciate your concern. I don’t know what I want to do just yet.” Mel groaned walking away.
Danny shrugged. There wasn’t much he could do. He felt some what embarrassed over the way Claire had treated Mel. She had accepted his engagement proposal when they had both been in college. She had no intention of getting married. Instead after graduating she bought a small house downtown as was the current fashion among young romance sims. Not long after moving in she got pregnant by Sam Fancey, Mel’s younger brother.
The next day Danny decided to get all his siblings together. His mother had left the task of informing the twins of their father’s passing away. He wasn’t sure how well it would go over. He was happy that all three of his sister came. Clyde brought his wife and son but Rob didn’t want to stay out so late. The Twins took the news about Don well. They had never really gotten to know him.
Neila had never met the twins before. Danny made dinner while everyone chatted and watched tv. After eating Niela got a game of kicky bag going. Everyone but Donella joined in. Danny smiled, it had been good getting everyone together. It had been worth giving up a night for dating.
Justin Kim; In a House with no windows.
Household: Justin Kim / adult
Ask any sim in pleasantview where Justin Kim lives, they will tell you to follow the trail of girls to the log cabin with the tatch roof. You can't miss it, it's the only house with no windows and a glass front door. No one compalians, at least not openly in decent society, about Justin's house having no windows. Around other sims they claim what you see through the front door is enough to make you glad he didn't install windows.
Justin had invested a good deal of simiolions into the townhouse he'd been renting after college. He'd just finished fixing it up when his phone service stoped working. He couldn't surive without a phone. he'd heard rumors about phone outages happening at Sim State, but he didn't think it would happen in the main nieghborhood. Annoyed that the land lady couldn't fix his service, he packed up his stuff and moved out. He was close to broke after having spent so much on new floors and wall coverings. there wasn't one house in his budget. not wanting another rental, he bought a little vacent lot just down a side street from where his father had been living with Clyde. With the little bit of simolions he had left Justin built a one story square house. it was big enough to hold everything he'd had at the town house but not big enough for anything else. He'd want the house to have a light airy feeling when he installed the glass door, but when he went for windows, well he was simply out of money.
Justin enjoyed the scandloues image he had in the nieghborhood. Being a romantic at heart he felt not having windows only enhanced his reputation with a shrowd of mystery. Though he might claim that the trial of girls was a bit of an exageration, he would have to admit he did enjoy having his female friends hanging out.
After his nephew Rob's birthday party he wished nothing more then to have his sister-in-law, Brie, join his collection of lady friends. He went about his normal morning routine. Reading the paper and tidying up the house, all the time wanting to talk to Brie and tickle Brie. Clyde was very important to Justin and he worried about his younger brother's emotional stablity. there had been so much more to the story of Cynthia and Don then the twin knew.
Justin was a child when they had moved their house into Pleasantview to start a new life. Robert and Cynthia didn't change as much as they had planned and promised Justin. they found new jobs and there was more family dinners together but they both seemed cool and aloft towards him, as well as with each other. things didn't change after the twins were born. Not right away. Justin remember the day he and Robert came home to find Don Lothrario in bed with Cynthia. She swore he'd only came by to see the twins and she got swept up by his charm. For days, Robert was even more distant. He spent more time with his son, and helped with the care of the twins. finally, he made the decision things really needed to change. they sold their house and bought the farm house.
"Maybe a normal family house will make us a normal family," Robert had told Justin. For a while, it did.
Justin had to distract himself from his thoughts of his beautiful sister-in-law and his temtations that could distroy his brother's happiness. what better distraction from one girl was there then a house party with lots of girls. Justin invited a group of people he wasn't fully friends with the hopes of getting to know some of them or at least one a lot better. He inivited Kitty Crazy, her son Dan and his wife Mellow, a very pregnate Gina Goth, the young teen Stacy Fancey, Dustin Broke and of course two of the three Pleasant sisters, Megan Dreamer and Lilith Broke. Everyone but Dan came. The party was a blast. though Dustin was a bit of a drag. a houseful of pretty girls and all Dustin would do is pester Justin about Heart Happiness.
It wasn't that Justin wasn't greatful for all that Dustin had done for his son with Heart. Dustin may have only been Heart's stepfather but he had opened his door to the young woman when Bobbie was just a baby. Justin had been around for the child in the beginning, but after Heart got married to Amin, Justin wasn't invited to anything concerning Bobbie.
Justin did his best to avoid Dustin, who would sit sulking infront of the tv instead of enjoying the company of the pretty ladies. Justin tried chatting up Kitty, Mellow and Lilith though none seemed intrested in staying the night. Megan and Gina seemed insepreatable, far from their college days of fighting. Stacy seemed friendly enough, but he mostly wanted her around because she was a friend of his son's and of course he wanted know about her sister Lizzy.
after a roof raising part, Justin was restless. He was going to call someone to come over, when the phone rang.
"I had a lot of fun," Stacy Fancey blurted over the phone.
"Glad to hear that. tell your sister Hi for me," Justin rushed her off the phone. there was someone more intresting out front, Cassandra Goth.
Justin sauntred out to engage the lovely elderly widow into conversation. She was the only elder Sim who had kept up her youthful look. She still sported her signiture pink bob that looked so eleagent with her flowy pink flora sun dress. He got her chating and sharing intest.
"it's getting late, you should stay the night," Justin purposed.
She accepted and after a romanic kiss in the moon light, they retreated to his bed to relax and share some woo-hoo.
Justin served omlets in the morning. She watched a little tv while he read the paper. He asked her to leave around 9am, telling her he had things to do.
He headed down to Crypto's to check out the action. It was early still but there where a few people. Gilly Broke joined him on the dance floor, and they chated some. Gilly's nephew Brian arrived. Justin and Brian had once been frineds but that was before Justin gotten involved with Brian's half sister Heart. Now all they did was fight. Justin tryed to apologize agian to Brian. Brian would not listen.
"first you leave my sister with your child, then you try to get my wife to stay the night", Brian said shoving Justin.
Justin didn't feel like spending his day fighting with Brian, so he went home and called Heart to come over to disscuss their son, Bobbie. Even though their son was grown and attending Sim State, she came over. She always came over and he always managed to get her to woo-hoo with him.
As they drifted off to sleep he wispered, "you'll always be mine."
When Justin woke up she was gone.
Feeling restless still, he decided it was time for a carreer change. He was already the youngest sim to reach his life asperation as a professional party guest. He decided to go for his second life asperation as a rock god. He checked the computer finding a job in the music carreer. it was a cut in pay but more days of working. maybe after a promotion he could put in some windows, or maybe not.
Brie (Goth) & Clyde Kim ; can they build a normal family?
Household; Clyde Kim = adult, Brie (Goth) Kim= adult, Rob Kim= toddler+child
Clyde wants nothing more then to be the perfect family man. His asperation to reach the top of the law enforcement field was just a small part of his larger plans. His own childhood had been for the most part very normal. Sortly after the birth of Clyde and his twin sister, Claire, their parents, Robert and Cynthia Kim decided to buy the "Family Farm" house. it was roomy enough for the pets and the three kids. Justin had become a teenager when the twins where toddlers, and had doted on them. Justin had even moved to the large spare room down stairs so that Clyde could have his own bedroom on the second floor. It wasn't til after Snow was born that Clyde discovered his family had a secret. Robert wasn't the really father of the twins. After Justin went off to college, Clyde became an emotional teen. he took his rage out on Snow's dollhouses. as soon as one was replaced he would smash it. Durring one of his angry outburst, he smash the urn of the family's cat, Cheech before anyone else knew the cat had died.
Claire had taken the news about Robert much better then her twin brother. She even began talking to their real father, Don Lothario. Her relationship with him was strained by her twins anger. It had been from Claire that Clyde came to learn the full story. When Robert and Cynthia first moved to Pleasentville, they befriended a couple, Don and Nina Lothario. A friendship that nearly destroyed their loving marriage. While pregnate with Don's child, Nina began flirting with Robert which soon lead to an affair. Outraged at his friend's action, Don sought revenge. He invited Robert and Cynthia to dinner. While Nina flirted with her lover in the kitchen, Don persauded Cynthia to join him in the hot tub. He told Cynthia of their spouses' affair and talked her into having a fling of their own. Trusting Don to a woo-hoo in the hot tub he double crossed her by trying for baby, resulting in the twin.
It was his time at Sim State that Clyde began to get his emotions under control. He had lived in a five room dorm along with his twin, Claire, a slightly older boy named Brian Broke and a sweet tempered girl named Saturday Goth. It had been Saturday who had made the bigest difference in Clyde's life. It was hard to be angry about anything with Saturday around. She was always turning the radio on and getting Sims to dance. She told Clyde, "every family has it own twists and secrets" , then shocking him by revealing her and Brian were sorta cousins through marriage. She even introduced him to Brian and her's shared Aunt, Brie Goth.
Brie's own tragic tale made Clyde feel a little better about his own messed up life. Brie's own family had had it's dealing's with Don and Nina Lotherio, as well as Nina's sister, Dina Caliente. Brie's older half-sister, Cassandra, had been engaged to Don at one time but had caught him out on a date with Nina several times. Brie's father Mortamer had been dating Dina with plans for an engagement, but had caught her woo-hooing with Don. Heartbroken by Dina's action, Mortamer had gone for a stroll and met a young widow with three sons. Brandi Broke helped him pull himself together and Mortamer felt a desire to help the young mother. He asked her to bring her sons and move in with him. Brandi and her sons had just climbed out of the taxi when Mortamer met her at the gate and married her on the spot. Cassandra, wanting more for her life moved out as Brandi and her kids made themselves at home.
Brandi and Mortamer were deeply in love and when Brandi became pregnate, it seemed life couldn't get better. The happiness was short lived. Dustin, Brandi's eldest son grew up poorly, not getting the chance to go to Sim State like all his friends. Feeling as if he had done to little to late, Mortamer feel sickly and two days later he passed away. Brandi suffered a nervouse break down in the bathroom as she watched the grim reaper take another husband away from her. Finding herself a widow and pregnate agian, Brandi ran to the phone. She wanted to adopt a pet to fill the sudden void she was feeling. The shock of watching her husband die had been to much and before she could even pick her new kitten up for the first time Brandi gave birth on the side walk in the snow. She promply put the baby down, ignored the kitten and took to her bed. Dustin fetched his new born sister from the snow and carried her to the house to be fed. As the first few days went by, Dustin had cared for Brie but he couldn't take it any more. He told his brother, Beau and step-brother, Alexander to watch over Gilly and Brie. Scooping up the kitten, Dustin moved out.
Her brothers Alexander, Beau and eventully even Gilly looked after her, as well as, each other. They all did each other's homework, cooked meals and cleaned up when the maid wasn't around. one by one, her brothers went off to Sim State and Brie found her self alone in the big house with her mother. Brandi, not being able to take care of her daughter herself used the money problems her step-daughter Cassandra and her Husband Bengimine where haveing as a reason to inivite them to move back into the big house.
For the first time in her life, Brie was part of a regular family. Even though she had to share a room with her niece Bell, Brie made the best of it. Even when Bell would wake her up by coming in their bedroom turning on the radio while she checked herself out in the mirror. Family dinner's togher around the large table was her favorite. Her niece's felt more like sisters and her sister was more like a mother.
Brie got accepted into Sim State like her brothers had. As she walked out the door for college, a sad heart broken Brandi died in the dinning room. Brie focused her energy on her studies. she'd hardly thought about dating until she met Clyde.
After graduating, Brie moved back to the big house with Cassandra and Alexander. she focused on her carrer as a criminal. She hadn't been back home for more then a season when Clyde graduated and asked her to move in with him at the farm house.
Clyde felt loyal to the man who had been more of a father to him then his own Biological father. After finishing at Sim State, Clyde returned home to care for an elderly Robert and an elderly dog, Leroy who had once belonged to Snow. Robert welcomed Clyde and his bride to be Brie with a warm open heart. He helped the couple plan their wedding and honey moon. Shortly after their return home Leroy and Robert both passed away.
A season later, Brie gave birth to a little boy they named Rob. Brie did her best to be a better mom then Brandi. Clyde became a highly attentive father. He would take over his sons care as soon as he came home from work, insisting his wife get lots of rest and to take the time to work on her skills.
Brie was thankful for her husband's help and no sooner did she return to work did she find herself with a carrer decision to make. She was working as a counterfieter for the local mobsters when she discovered she had a rather large supply of counterfiet simolions. Though she was tempted to launder some for herself she thought it would be more impressive to bribe so town official's. She got a promotion on Rob's childhood birthday.
Returning home to a birthday party in full swing, her mood was lifted higher when she discovered who had came to celebrate her son becoming a child. Her sister Cassandra and brothers Dustin and Gilly where there. Clyde's older brother Justin was flirting with girls in the kitchen. Even Danny Lothario, Clyde's half brother from his real father had came.
Clyde was feeling the love of family in the air and decided it was time to start thinking of bringing another baby to the family. Brie wasn't sure if she was completely ready, but she told him she would consider it. the next day however, things didn't go well for Clyde. A coworker challanged him to a tumb war match, despite it seeming childish, Clyde thought it would be great for a laugh. His higher up's used it as an excuse to demote him. Feeling depressed over his lower rank in the police force, Clyde couldn't help but wonder how much of it was really about something so silly as a game of thumb wars or was it due to his wife's recent promotion that got him the demotion?
