Lots of Moodlets
My third lot will be published tomorrow - called Money Farm. This is more of a starter home (for under §60,000) that I hope people will enjoy as much as I am enjoying it. I have tested it with a family who just barely afforded it, and they have already added an expansion to the house. The money trees have been very rewarding... this family earned over §25,000 just in the first week. Not to mention the amazing things that are growing on the omni plants!
I hope the new expansion gives us more items to perform experiments on. I keep looking for ways to use extra chairs or counters in a room just to add more fun moodlets! Maybe I can create one more home before World Adventures comes out. If anyone would like to make a suggestion, I will take it happily. But I think I will make another starter so it will be quick and painless!
Scientific Experiments and MORE!
Once your Sims get used to a pampered life, they don't wanna go back! That's why I started moving all these special items out with my Sims so they can continue their lives in a parallel universe with all the amenities they've grown fond of.
I had to move a spare heir out of my legacy home, so I built Peaches & Cream for her. She brought with her some very special seeds, some mysterious gnomes, produce fit for planting a perfect garden, plenty of life fruit, a couple of deathfish, familiar art to make it homey, and some beloved furniture her father had experimented on before his passing.
Scientific Experiments Imagine a computer so inspiring, your Sim has a mood boost when using it. Or an armchair so comfortable, it fascinates you. When relaxing in bed watching your favorite show, a feeling of tranquility will almost overwhelm you. Whether taking a meal in the breakfast nook or the dining room, if you're seated first, you're sure to be cheered up. And you're always a winner at the chess table, no matter how good you are - even if you have no opponent.
You don't have to be a pirate to enjoy a treasure hunt, and it may be hard to spot the two omni seeds hidden inside, but you shouldn't have much trouble finding the other special seeds outside.
Have fun, there's more to come!
there's more to it
I am not nearly finished posting pics of my aliens - just wanted to clear that up... some of you think it's done, it's so not done! LOL! I still need to post the 3rd and 4th generations. But I'm working on more pictures to post here soon. Hope everyone had a great holiday.Gen 3 - Group A
Samantha and Trevor were paired as a couple. Skippy and Tatiana were paired as a couple. Star and Tommy were paired as a couple.2nd Generation Summary
Now you've seen all 16 of the 2nd generation. They've all passed away now, as you can see a portrait from various stages in their lives. Here's an example of how they continued the experiment to create the 3rd generation:
In Group A, DJ Rainbow married Fanny Brown. Grant Green married Isadora Aqua. The Rainbows and the Greens had 3 kids each, and those kids were meant to grow up an marry one another. This is because DJ and Fanny's kids are still completely unrelated to Grant and Isadora's kids. Again, I made sure they had the right gender babies in order to provide couples. Fanny had 2 girls and 1 boy, while Isadora had 2 boys and 1 girl.
It's the same in each group. So the 8 couples from the 2nd generation eventually had a total of 24 kids. Get ready for the 3rd Generation!!
Group A
Abby, Bianca, Cadence, and Jasmine will have 4 kids (one with each of the alien guys). Here are the firstborn; Group A. They all went to college together and I paired off couples from them. It was important to get an equal amount of boys and girls. Each of the four in this group are still unrelated to one another. Their parents must never get married, so there will be no step-sibling relationships among them. The First Generation
I created 8 males with different skintones, different eye colors, and either red, brown, or blonde hair. Each of them got abducted and had an alien baby in a different neighborhood. While they were living there, they did not speak to any other character. If they had met anyone, they'd bring an unnecessary character file to the experimental neighborhood - where they all joined to form a community.Their alien children will not be related to each other because they were born in a different neighborhood. This is how the experiment begins. An even amount (4) of girls and boys gives 16 different possible genetic configurations. Math geeks: 4! = 16 :D
