Hi Linda! Thanks for the info on the "Knell's End" lot. What you're experiencing is a bit of a glitch with the game in general: if you place a lot with a basement in any neighbourhood where the land (apparently) falls below the surrounding sea level, it floods the basement. The well-known neighbourhood for this horror is Veronaville, but your own neighbourhoods can do it too. Poor skeleton though! Made me laugh!
