for objects to get started you need to download workshop here on tsr, then a graphics program (GIMP is that it is free http://www.gimp.org/), then you need a plug of the nvidea to work dds files (https://code.google.com/p/gimp-dds/), then you should always follow some tutorials on tsr ... by the hair and to create new mesh you need a program to work in 3d, as milkshape (but not free)...there is a lot of work, I can advise you to start with a few posters or carpet or tile .... good job and happy holidays ^ _ ^
