About Me
I'm a laidback mother of three grown boys, and a wife of 24 years with a hubby whose basically my 4th boy. My boys are starting to leave home and I'm terrified and excited about being an "empty-nester". I was a die-hard World of Warcraft fan until I got tired of having to run interference between people squabbling in my guild. I'm disabled and I can only take so much strife and contention. So, I was looking for something to do for fun and my daughter-in-law introduced me to Sims 3, where the only squabbles I have to deal with are those I choose to have! Woot! I'm an artist at heart and I love to build things, so this is a fabulous game for me. (I used to build things in real life.) Sims 3 gives me a way to "leave my home" without actually having to, since it's hard for me to actually do. Plus, with the Sims I make, I can do things that my own body won't let me do! Since I'm new to Sims, I've never played the first or second sims games. I'd love to hear from you long-time Simmers if you think I should try Sims 2 as well. I enjoy fantasy based Sims and I understand there are lots of Medieval, faery and elven clothing and items already made for Sims 2. I'd love to try my hand at making some things for Sims 3, but I don't really know how. I'd love some feedback on the best tutorials for creating and using meshes so I can start adding my own creations to this site. (Like faery wings!) I'm very grateful to this site and all the wonderful artist here who share their creations with me so I can enjoy my game even more. I'm currently working on a Medieval Sims town in Sunset Valley and I rely heavily on this site and Modthesims2. One of my favorite artists here is CycloneSue! Herstuff is awesome, check it out! Happy Simming!
