In regards to the glowing orb, try entering the regular debug cheat "bb.showhiddenobjects" followed by "bb.showliveeditobjects". After you've entered both, search for "debug" in the text search bar on the left. This should generate additional debug items in your items catalog. At this point you can also try filtering by the Realm of Magic pack, as I believe this is where the light came from.
