Thanks you for your very kind comments. I'm so glad you like the house. In answer to your question, anywhere from 1 to 5 hours depending on size, complexity and whether or not I know exactly what I'm trying to create. The cottage took about a little over an hour because it was already "designed" by someone else.

Hello! I never knew we had 'guest books' until today so I'm sorry about the late reply regarding the Bridge House, but thank you for your nice comments anyway. The CEP files (colour enabler package) allow recolors to show and you can obtain CEP right from this site (at http://www.sims2.thesimsresource.com/article/help/Using_CEP), If you've already installed the Bridge House, you'll then be able to use the recolouring tool in the Sims to change the chimney colour back to stone.
