A whole lot has changed since I joined the site back in late 2004, wow have the years gone by. My "baby" is 18 now and out on her own *cries* and my other "baby" is 14 and soon he'll be getting out on his own and my final "baby" (i mean husband) is gonna be the death of me lol. I no longer have/play the Sims 1 or the Sims 2. I do have installed on my lappy Sims 3 and all the bells and whistles that came with it but it's so resource consuming and takes a ton of time to load (and game play is so slow and glitchy) and I don't even have any CC in that one. But, I have been seriously considering removing it and packing it away in storage or just giving it away (though I don't know if that is even allowed). I have lost (not intentionally, they may have gotten mixed in with other things) along the way most of the hard copies of TS3 that I had mostly during my move from Arkansas to Wyoming (we downsized our belongings a whole lot to make that move to minimize how much it would cost). Upon discovering TS4 I did not buy any hard copies of the game, I did the digital download thing. I am way more content with the loading speed of TS4 and the fact that it doesn't quite consume as much resources as previous versions of the Sims have done. Despite the fact that I have quite a bit of ram on this laptop and that it is a newer one that has Win 8 64 bit (and a pesky touch screen) on it made no difference in running TS3 and of course I never tried TS1 or TS2 on it as I had long since gotten rid of those games. (I simply GAVE them away, ah, a time when that was ok to do.) So anyhow, enough rambling. TS4 calls before I have to go to work lol.
